A durational performance for one audience participant at a time.

DREAM CAGE is much less a spectacle than it is an invitation to a shared situation. Un-mediated, but held, participants and performer alike are welcomed into a time-based, built environment of lived proximity—where a dream can be dreamed again.

Moving through the hypnagogic (pre-dream), The Dreaming, and the hypnopompic (post-dream), this 30-minute encounter treats the landscape of a dream as precious material.

Note: Participants may come with a dream fragment (image, sound, story, flavor) or a recurring dream; however, this is not required, and audience participants may arrive with nothing at all.

It is, likewise, not required to share specific content or story. This information may be kept entirely to the dreamer; however, if they would like to, that is all right too.
